Directors | Staffing The Center's staff consists of a group of professionals with expertise in the fields of administration, psychiatry, psychology, social work and early childhood education. An extensive intern program supports CCTC's full and part-time staff of over 200. The Center has a long-term interest in assuring that qualified professionals are available to treat multi-disordered children. The agency serves as a training facility for interns in the fields of psychology and social work. It has a long-standing relationship with institutions such as Widener University, University of Pennsylvania, Temple University, Bryn Mawr College, Smith College, Community College of Philadelphia, Great Lakes Colleges Association, Eastern College, Immaculata College and other neighboring institutions. CCTC's volunteer program consists of approximately 30 dedicated individuals from the community, corporations, and neighboring universities and colleges. Volunteers are trained and their skills are matched to appropriate areas of need. Volunteer assignments vary. Many volunteers work in the Therapeutic Nurseries assisting the teacher-therapists in preparing and planning activities. Volunteers also work with administrative staff in the office, organize annual clean-ups, and have held fundraisers for the Center. The Center's volunteer core is a valued and essential part of the CCTC team. |
