SUMMER THERAPEUTIC ENRICHMENT PROGRAM (STEP)

The Summer Therapeutic Enrichment Program is a therapeutic/recreational summer camp for children. The camp provides children with a safe environment where they can develop and practice needed social skills while school is not in session during the summer months. Most of the children have been denied access to other summer camps due to behavioral and emotional difficulties in the past. In STEP, all children successfully complete the summer-long program, learn valuable skills and explore community options. Most importantly, they have the opportunity to enjoy childhood activities as others do while receiving art, dance/movement and recreational therapies.
