CHILDREN ACHEIVING THROUGH RE-EDUCATION (CARE)

The CARE program uses the Re-education Model in the classroom, which is based on an ecological philosophy that a child's challenges are related to the stress placed on him/her by his/her environment. This program develops a better fit between the child and the environment through the use of positive behavioral support aimed at teaching cognitive and behavioral skills while providing individualized instruction. CcTC's CARE program is currently located at Julia de Burgos Elementary School in North Philadelphia.
