COORDINATOR OF PARENT/CAREGIVER SERVICES: Non-profit children’s mental health agency is seeking an experienced behavioral health professional to develop, implement and coordinate services to parents/caregivers of children participating in treatment services. Full time position available for a professional seeking a leadership position at an agency that offers strong clinical programming as well as a collegial and dynamic working environment. Requirements: Master’s degree in social work or related field. Experience providing clinical, psycho-educational services to children and families as well as coordinating/managing programs required. TEACHER (TESC): To provide educational services to children with emotional and behavioral disorders in accordance with individual treatment plans; evaluate and assess instructional and behavioral needs, and plan and implement remedial instruction and behavior management. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in education or an area of human services with an education background and teaching experience. A minimum of 1-year experience working with children with special learning and behavioral health needs. Must be Special Education Certified. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. TRAUMA THERAPIST: Full time therapist to provide mental health services to children who have experience traumatic events or been the victims of sexual abuse. Requirements: Master’s degree in Social Work, Family Therapy or a Doctoral degree in Psychology from an APA accredited university. Experience in providing trauma-focused therapy with children and families preferred, as well as a strong interest and commitment to working with this highly specialized population.
BEHAVIORAL SPECIALIST CONSULTANT: To provide consultation to children and families in settings other than provider agency and office. Services provided included designing and directing the implementation of an individualized behavior plan to meet the child and family needs. BSC assesses and identifies behavior goals and intervention techniques to promote developmentally appropriate behavior, activities, and social skills of the child in the home, school and /or community. Requirements: Master’s degree in psychology or related field. A minimum of two (2) years post Master’s experience providing mental health treatment to children; BHRS exp. required
GRANTS COORDINATOR: Reporting to the Director of Development, serves as the overall coordinator of foundation, corporate, and government grant proposal preparation and submission for Children’s Crisis Treatment Center (CcTC). Works in cooperation with key staff and Board members to identify, cultivate and solicit funding prospects and nurture relationships with contributors. Prepares grant proposals, reports, letters of inquiry, and related documents. Also coordinates CcTC’s annual United Way Campaign and assists Development staff in writing articles for agency publications. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with at least two year’s experience in grant preparation and foundation/corporate prospect research via the Internet and other methods. Solid writing, editing, and analytical skills are required along with a passion for marketing CcTC’s funding needs to current and potential funding sources. Candidates also must be comfortable working in a fast-paced team-oriented environment that values leadership, creativity and personal initiative. Also must be proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with Raiser’s Edge fundraising software highly desired.
MOBILE THERAPIST: To provide therapy to children in their own home. MT help children and families cope with issues such as loss, anger management, parenting, and behavior modification. Requirements: Master’s degree in Psych. or related field. BHRS exp. required. Minimum of one (1) year post Master’s experience providing counseling to children
THERAPEUTIC STAFF SUPPORT – Daytime (up to 35 hrs.): To provide therapeutic support to children in their home, school and other community settings. Therapeutic Staff Support implements the clinical intervention from behavioral treatment plan to assist the children in making positive changes. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in psych. or related field. Min. 1 yr. MH training required; OR an Associate’s degree or 60 Credits toward a bachelor’s degree, or a Licensed Practical Nurse with (3) years verified full-time paid work experience working in direct contact with children/adolescents is required. BEHAVIORAL HEALTH WORKER (THERAPEUTIC NURSERY): Early childhood partial hospitalization program is seeking a Behavioral Health Worker to join its treatment team. Use High/Scope early childhood framework as the setting for milieu therapy at this Center. Implement Developmental Therapy (see Stanley Greenspan, M.D.) as the basis of Center therapeutic approach. Conduct regular Program Planning meetings with Assistants, and students when possible and designate specific areas and duties for each member of the team. Maintain records: Progress Notes, Concurrent Review Forms, and Discharge Summaries. Assign and supervise all activities of Assistants on team. Requirements: Bachelors degree in an area of child services or sociology, elementary education, political science, criminal justice, pastoral counseling or other related field and a minimum of one year direct care experience with children and adolescents. Experience in developmentally oriented preschool education, including successful experience with both normal and developmentally delayed and/or disordered children. CARE COORDINATOR (FAMILY BASED): Highly organized individual with a broad knowledge of local services in the Philadelphia area. The primary responsibility is to assist clients connect with community resources and to ensure continuum of care. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field with a least 1year direct care experience providing mental health services to children and families. Must have a valid drivers license and use of an automobile during work hours. Must be flexible to work evenings if necessary.
ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST/SCHOOL BASED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES (SBBHS): Applicant will support a team of mental health professionals in assigned school, collect all service documentation, maintain charts and records. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience working with executive/administrative staff and office management. Good communication; interpersonal skills; and secretarial with computer skills required.
ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST (CARE): Applicant will support a team of mental health professionals in assigned school, collect all service documentation, maintain charts and records. IT SPECIALIST: The IT Support Specialist will work close with staff primarily in a desktop support role. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of broad Information Technology experience, but candidates with little or no experience will be considered, recent college graduates are encouraged to apply. Day to day desktop support including desktop hardware replacement, operating system upgrades, system backups and other IT support roles will make up this position. The selected candidate will aid in the design and build of an Active Directory infrastructure, Exchange Server environment and will be responsible for website content management. Specialized application support and travel to multiple locations in Philadelphia are also essential Requirements: BS in Computer Science and MCSE certification. Knowledge of server and desktop hardware along with Microsoft Widows server and desktop operation systems is essential. Batch scripting and some programming helpful along SQL or Access database knowledge. Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs.
