Mission Statement:

CCTC is committed to providing high quality, comprehensive mental health services to Philadelphia's neediest children and their families.

These services address the effects of abuse, neglect, traumatic events, and other challenges to early childhood development and assist children in reaching their full potential within their homes, community and society.

CCTC delivers licensed and professional services that are tailored to meet the needs of each child. These services are provided in a culturally sensitive environment that embraces all Philadelphia communities while valuing their differences.

Vision Statement:

Consistent with its mission, the Children's Crisis Treatment Center's vision is to thrive as the premier provider of quality mental health services to Philadelphia's children and their families. In addition, CCTC will achieve the following:

  • CCTC will increase accessibility to a diverse array of mental health services to Philadelphia communities. Services will be selectively expanded in areas consistent with CCTC's mission and will focus on eliminating cultural, economic and geographic barriers to their utilization. This will include training and education programs that support CCTC's mission.
  • CCTC will ensure efficient delivery of the highest quality services. CCTC will focus on attracting and retaining highly qualified employees, who will receive an appropriate level of staff training and development. Appropriate systems and technology will be utilized to deliver excellent client service in a cost-effective manner. Quality management programs will be implemented to measure, monitor and enhance CCTC's programs and services.
  • CCTC will establish long-term financial stability. This will be accomplished through prudent growth, conservative financial management and thoughtful risk evaluation. CCTC is committed to diversifying its revenue sources, establishing an endowment and broadening its donor base.
  • CCTC will improve and expand its physical facilities. Changes or additions to facilities will be made consistent with the goals of geographic accessibility, high-quality services and long-term financial stability, while meeting the needs of clients with physical disabilities.
  • CCTC will have a Board of Trustees actively engaged in supporting CCTC's mission and vision

CcTC's vision is based on the belief that all children and families are entitled to the best treatment and service currently available in an atmosphere of respect and concern. The CcTC staff and board share this vision and operate in accordance with a code of professional and personal ethics that makes the needs of our child clients and their families paramount.
