CCTC is seeking an Accountant that will work with the Controller and Chief Financial Officer to support closing processes, audit preparation, budgeting, general ledger account and program analysis, prepare journal entries, and support daily transaction processes.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the monthly and year end close process
  • Reconcile, identify and investigate general ledger accounts and sub-ledger accounts on a monthly basis
  • Create and maintain financial schedules for accurate accounting of program revenues and expenses
  • Support in audit preparation and the development of the agency’s budget
  • Manage grant accounting, budget preparation and support program directors in development of grant applications; manage grant financial reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with Program Directors (or other designated parties) in the overall fiscal reporting and financial management of programs and departments; including creating report structure to support the departments’ goals, and providing ongoing business function support


BS in accounting; would consider recent graduate, or in final phases of completion

1-5 years’ experience in accounting; prefer nonprofit and grant accounting experience

Excellent Excel Skills

Knowledge of Accounting and Payroll Systems; preferably MIP

Proficiency in electronic accounting and database systems
