Assistant Division Director – School Based Services

The primary role of the Assistant Division Director of School Based Services is focusing on operational effectiveness, ensuring that the day-to-day functions of the School Based Services programs run smoothly and efficiently. This role involves supporting the Division Director in program management, supervising School-Based Services Team Leaders, and ensuring that services provided are of the highest quality. The Assistant Division Director also plays a key role in ensuring that the programs meet their productivity targets and comply with all regulatory requirements.

Summary of Essential Functions:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the School Based Services programs to ensure they run efficiently
  • Implement processes and procedures that improve operational efficiency and service delivery
  • Conduct regular reviews of key metrics and program KPIs and provide program staff feedback to improve operational performance
  • Assist the Division Director in developing and maintaining partnerships with schools and external stakeholders
  • Ensure that programs meet productivity requirements and maintain a consistent flow of referrals
  • Provide weekly supervision to SBS Team Leaders, offering feedback and guidance to improve performance
  • Support the development of staff through training and coaching to enhance their effectiveness
  • Ensure that all program documentation, including census trackers and service authorizations, is completed accurately and on time
  • Maintain compliance with CBH and school district requirements and other regulatory standards
  • Monitor the quality of services provided, ensuring that they meet the established standards and address the needs of the children and families served
  • Act as a liaison between HR and program staff regarding performance, medical, or other concerns

Requirements

Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in behavioral health services including 3 years in a supervisory role within educational or behavioral health services.
Clinical licensed in mental health field strongly preferred (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LSW, BSL).
Strong operational management skills with experience in program implementation and staff supervision.
Knowledge of school systems and the operational requirements of behavioral health programs.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and operational management skills.
Effective communicator with the ability to provide clear guidance and support to staff.
Problem-solver with a proactive approach to improving processes and addressing challenges.
Collaborative team player with a commitment to high-quality service delivery.
