Maintenance Specialist
The Maintenance Specialist will be tasked with coordinating activities, resources, equipment and information. This includes performing repairs, troubleshooting, carrying out preventative maintenance, maintaining and improving the condition of buildings, and the timely completion of work orders under the direction of the Facilities Manager.
Requirements
- Collaborating with maintenance department members to refine and update current procedures, timing, and usefulness as well as assignment and creation of new procedures
- Working as a member of the overall Maintenance Department to accomplish basic goals for uptime, safety and reliability.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Facilities Director.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required or proof of current enrollment.
Minimum of (3) years of maintenance or construction related experience.
Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
Ability to perform minor repairs, painting, and other facility repair needs.
Available to work with the trades and provide necessary access.
Ability to take initiative, multi-task and work independently to establish and manage work priorities and meet deadlines.
Good analytical skills.
Be able to physically perform all aspects of the position, including being able to physically lift 45 pounds on a frequent basis and 60 pounds occasionally.
Must have a valid driver license.
Available to work on-call when needed.
