Grants & Corporate Giving Manager

CCTC is seeking a Grants and Corporate Giving Manager in the Development department. The Grants and Corporate Giving Manager at Children’s Crisis Treatment Center (CCTC) is responsible for ensuring the stewardship of existing corporate donors and cultivating new potential donors to meet revenue expectations. This position works with new and existing grantors, corporations, researches grant opportunities from various sources, gathers input from leadership, other departments and colleagues, writes proposals to funding sources, and completes compliance and grant reporting.

Essential responsibilities;

  • Developing and managing a stewardship and cultivation program for foundation and corporate donors
  • Identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding foundation and corporate gift prospects
  • Providing strategic leadership in designing and implementing requests to foundations and corporations
  • Overseeing and managing appropriate frequency of outreach, appreciation, impact reporting and involvement of foundation and corporate relationships
  • Creating and implementing annual goals, objectives, and strategies for fundraising, and regularly assess progress toward goals
  • Managing a portfolio of foundation/corporate donors
  • Project management, from facilitating big-picture strategic conversations about positioning and prospects to completion and on-time submission of full proposal and report packages (narratives, budgets and attachments)
  • Delegate writing or editing tasks to others and ensure on-time completion of assignments
  • Careful and accurate tracking of funds being sought and received, including multi-year grants, and providing timely and accurate reporting of progress toward goals
  • Serving as a contact with foundation/corporate program officers; participate in meetings and site visits as needed
  • Designing engagement opportunities for foundation and corporate donors
  • Coordinating production of materials and tools to communicate regularly with foundation and corporate supporters and potential supporters
  • Meeting with existing and potential funders and make solicitations when appropriate
  • Ensuring timely follow-up on all grants and sponsorship gifts to provide thanks and documentation to funders

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in development, marketing, communications/journalism, English or a related field.

A minimum of three years experience cultivating programs in a non-profit environment.

Donor database systems (Blackbaud) experience preferred.

The ability to work effectively with diverse cultures.

This individual will have strong organizational and leadership skills that serve to support CCTC’s mission and vision.
