Transition from Preschool Early Intervention to Kindergarten in Philadelphia/Transición de la intervención temprana en educación infantil a kindergarten en Filadelfia Register
Join Education Law Center – PA for a workshop focusing on the transition to kindergarten for young children with specialized needs in the School District of Philadelphia. You will learn about important rights and protections for young children with disabilities or developmental delays, as well as how to advocate to ensure that children can begin kindergarten in an appropriate school environment with the services and supports they need on the very first day of kindergarten. You will also learn skills that can assist you to advocate for your child’s educational rights throughout elementary and high school. This presentation will be accessible in both English and Spanish.
