Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
The Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Program helps children work on skills that will allow them to become more independent and successful in the short and long term.
Utilizing the principles of ABA, CCTC provides 1:1 services in order to decrease challenging behaviors and increase functional and pro-social skills. It is an evidenced based, best practice that is individualized uniquely to each person. All ABA treatment looks at both positive and negative behavior as a learned response that can be modified by changing environmental factors and consequences. ABA assesses function of behavior, current skill level, and individual strengths to guide treatment planning. Ongoing treatment uses direct measures to track a person’s progress over time and ensure success.
