Integrated Services
CCTC’s Integrated Behavioral Health Partnership Program serves to address emerging mental health challenges, mitigate the impact of adverse experiences, and enhance protective factors among a targeted group of children. In so doing, this team-based integrated services model expands the reach of behavioral health services to more children and families who may otherwise not be aware of or have access to services available to them. The program is highly adaptable to the various settings and staffing is tailored to the specific needs of the setting.
CCTC’s Integrated Behavioral Health Partnership Program is comprised of teams of trauma-informed child and family Behavioral Health Consultants and Care Coordinators who embed themselves into community partner settings. The Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) who is a master’s level professional provides screening, prevention, early intervention, and brief intervention services for the target population. The BHCs engage children and their families in developing a plan of action as it relates to the presenting concern and provide psychoeducation to families regarding child development, mental health, positive parenting strategies, and the impact of adversity on children and families. Depending on the presenting challenge, BHCs may follow the family on a short-term basis or recommend the family for more intensive, longer-term behavioral health treatment services. We are currently partnering with Xiente, Philadelphia Youth Basketball and Women Against Abuse.
